According to the Ministry of Tourism, Albania recorded 11.7 million foreign visitors during 2024, marking an increase of 15.2% compared to 2023. It was the Minister of Tourism and Environment, Mirela Kumbaro, who made the figures public, through a social media post.
Kumbaro emphasized that in addition to the increase in visitors from the countries of the region, the year 2024 has marked an increase in tourists from Western Europe, such as Italy, Germany, France and Great Britain.
